Why each capability matters
Customisable portals Available
Apply your own logo, colour palette and visual identity across the portal your customers and signers actually touch — sign-in, document lists, the signing ceremony, and the notification emails that go with them.
- The product looks like yours, not like a rebranded third-party tool sitting inside your offering.
- Signers trust what they recognise. A signing request that carries your branding gets opened and completed; an unfamiliar one gets ignored or reported as phishing.
- No front-end build. You get a branded product without maintaining a UI, an audit trail or a signing engine of your own.
Bring your own domain Available
Serve the platform from your own company domain —
sign.yourcompany.com— with SSL provisioned and managed for you. Signing links, magic links and shared documents all resolve under your name.- Deliverability and trust. Links that match your domain clear spam filters and pass the sniff test with security-conscious recipients.
- No vendor leakage. Your customers never land on someone else's URL, so there's no channel for them to be disintermediated.
- Consistent with your other properties — the signing portal sits alongside your app and marketing site rather than looking bolted on.
Bring your own email provider Roadmap
Route signing requests, reminders and completion notices through your own mail provider, sent from your own domain with your own SPF, DKIM and DMARC records.
- Deliverability is yours to control. Mail goes out under your sending reputation rather than sharing a pool with every other tenant on the platform.
- The email matches the link. A message from your domain pointing at your domain passes DMARC alignment and survives the scrutiny of a cautious recipient — a signing request is exactly the shape of email security teams are trained to distrust.
- You keep the logs. Delivery, bounce and complaint data stay in your provider, where your support team can already see them when a client says the document never arrived.
Bring your own certificate Roadmap
Apply your own certificate as the digital seal on completed documents, so the cryptographic seal that proves the file hasn't been altered is issued under your organisation's name rather than the platform's.
- Your name is on the seal. When a recipient opens the signed PDF, the signature panel names your organisation as the sealing entity. The document attests to itself without mentioning a vendor.
- Verification is independent of us. Anyone can validate the document against your certificate using standard PDF tooling — no portal login, no platform dependency, indefinitely.
- It satisfies policies that name the issuer. Where an internal standard or a counterparty requires documents to be sealed under the organisation's own credential, an uploaded certificate meets it where a platform-issued seal does not.
Bring your own storage Roadmap
Point the platform at object storage you own and control, so executed documents and their attachments come to rest in your bucket, in your account, in the region you choose.
- Data residency. Meet jurisdictional requirements — PDPA, GDPR, sector-specific rules — by keeping documents physically where your regulator expects them.
- You hold the copies. Retention, backup, legal hold and disposal run under your existing policies, not the vendor's defaults.
- Exit is not a migration project. If the relationship ends, your documents were never anywhere but your own storage.
Bring your own key Roadmap
Supply and control the encryption keys that protect your documents, held in a key manager you operate. The platform requests use of the key; it never owns it.
- Custody stays with you. Access to encrypted content is contingent on a key you can rotate, restrict or revoke at any time.
- Answers the hardest procurement question. "Can your vendor read our documents?" becomes a demonstrable no, not an assurance.
- Independent audit trail. Key-use logging sits in your own environment, giving you evidence of access that doesn't depend on vendor reporting.
Path A · For your own business
Run it on infrastructure you control
For enterprises and regulated industries, where the domain, mail, seal, files and keys are procurement questions rather than nice-to-haves.

Questions
Something else? Contact us.
Do I need a developer?
Not to launch. Branding is set in your account settings, and pointing your domain is a single DNS record your IT team or domain registrar can add. Resellers only need a developer to provision client accounts through the Reseller API themselves, and if you bill through WHMCS or Blesta the modules do that for you.
Who owns the customer relationship?
You do. Your customers sign in at your domain, see your brand and are billed by you. Sign.net bills you at partner rates and never markets to your clients or invites them to go direct.
Are there minimum commitments?
Not for the Reseller programme. Private Label customers and resellers agree a starting volume with us at onboarding, sized to the users or clients you expect to bring on.
What support do we get, and is there an SLA?
Resellers support their own clients, and we support you: partner support by email, and a named partner manager for Private Label. Service levels are set out in your agreement.
What currency are we billed in?
Sign.net bills in US dollars. Resellers can charge their own clients in whatever currency they like.
How deep does the white-labelling go?
Today, Private Label covers your logo, colours and notification emails across the portal and signing screen, served from your own domain. Signing links and shared documents resolve under your name.
When does bring your own email arrive, and what’s on the roadmap?
Bring your own email provider, certificate, storage and key are on the roadmap. They are not available yet and don't have committed dates, so please don't promise them to your clients. If one is a requirement for you, tell us and we'll share the current timeline before you put it in a contract.
What happens to documents if we part ways?
They're yours. Executed documents and their audit trails can be downloaded as standard PDFs that verify without a Sign.net login, and we work with resellers to move their clients to direct Sign.net accounts or another provider. Once bring your own storage is available, documents rest in your own bucket from the start.
Where is our clients’ data stored?
Documents are encrypted at rest with AES-256 in Sign.net's cloud. If you have a residency requirement, tell us in the form below and we'll confirm where your data would sit.
